Experience
When I graduated from Medical School in Mexico and started my private practice as a physician, I quickly realized that my patients were looking for more than my services regarding their medical conditions — they also needed to be listened to about their emotional needs on their quest for healing and wellbeing, beyond their physical illnesses. I have been very fortunate to practice for more than 24 years, and I found something in common when treating all my patients: the need for genuine connection.
Currently, I am part of the great community of Austin, Texas, and I am very pleased to offer my services as Counselor. I am a native Spanish speaker and my passion is to help the Latino/Hispanic community, and I also feel culturally sensitive/competent to help people from other cultural backgrounds.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I believe in supporting local and sustainable initiatives that promote cultural diversity and environmental awareness. I feel proud to be part of this global community offering my intention to be kind, grateful and supportive, especially for those who has been historically marginalized.
